Our definition of success.
Another of our quick posts. We posted a comment on Facebook the other day about the idea of success and what it meant. We said that to us it was delivering work we were proud of. Shortly after @robertjmccarthy replied on Twitter with
@Puur_Creative … deliver design our clients are proud of…
Robert is great, so it made us look at our answer (and his answer). We thought about what actually constitues us being ‘proud’ and why would our clients be happy about that?
Firstly, we do have incredibly high standards. We don’t just deliver work that looks ‘nice’ (read some our other posts). For us it’s about fully understanding and then answering a brief. Creating something truly breakthrough and truly unique that delivers against a real business need.
Our clients come to us for our decades of experience and our understanding of what ‘works’. We value their trust and repay it with thought, time and design excellence. We spend as much time as is needed to deliver against the promise (at no extra cost). Looking at the brief, what their ‘peers’ are doing and the needs and aspirations of the audience.
If we deliver this (with creative excellence) our clients’ needs will have been met and their audiences will engage with them in a relevant and meaningful way. Success for us is most definitely work we are proud of.
Puur mixes years of experience with creative inspiration (and a small dose of ‘science’) to develop unique and ownable identity solutions. If you need a tailored unique solution to your specific design challenge, give us a call today for a chat about how we can help.
